Steph’s Introduction..

When the idea of starting a blog first materialized in my brain, I knew immediately, that it had to be resolutely centered around books. Books, books, books. Bookie, book, books… (You all know you just read that in your best Ron Burgundy voices).

Specifically, romance and erotica. Or, as the R&E community like to affectionately call it, smut. There’s something about a beautiful love story laced with hot, sometimes kinky, sex that just gets my mind racing. In a good way. Gets my motor running, if you know what I mean? *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*

I originally battled with starting the blog on my own, but quickly realized that creating it with my best friend, my person, would ensure that no matter what the outcome, I’d have that funny bitch to keep me entertained!

MaRanda and I decided that a little Q&A to help you get to know us a little bit better would be a good way to start..

I’m also including my playlist that I listened to while I typed this up, because, well, fuckin’ because.

Steph – Let’s get the basic questions out of the way. You know, the shit nobody really cares about?

S – What is your favorite color?

M – Purple. Any shade in existence.

S – What are your Top 5 favorite movies?

M – The Shawshank Redemption (S – Twins bitch!), The Notebook, Sweet Home Alabama, Grease (NOT the cUntry!), & Fight Club (M- I called that ending!)

S – I want you all to know, that as she was naming off her list, she says, “I’m not even a chick flick kind of girl..”

S – What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?

M – Margarita on the rocks.

S – What is your favorite way to read?

M – In bed. The dark. The quiet

S – Favorite TV shows?

M – Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, Justified, & Boardwalk Empire. All have been cancelled! Bastards.

S – The “cancelled quartet!” Fer real, though, Boardwalk Empire was one of the best shows ever! I will agree to that one.

S – Favorite bands?

M – Imagine Dragons, Twenty One Pilots, James Bay, Avenged Sevenfold, AWOLNation (S – SAIL!)

S – What are your hobbies?

M – Reading, books, books, reading… Ooh, and holding your binoculars while you eat! (Oops, inside joke).

MaRanda’s Introduction..

So... I have also contemplated this whole blog idea, for quite some time now. I love books, all things books. (Okay, that's half a lie. I love SMUT and romance... I also *gasp* only want to read on an e-reader!! Blasphemy, right? It's the truth). So my BBF (Best Bitch Forever, for anyone not privy to that one) asked me if I wanted to blog about books together, I mean after all we practically share a brain. Kidding, again, but we do love the same books... back on point, when she asked if I would blog about said books with her. I didn't hesitate. I said yes. She had me at "book blog".

So without further adieu (I'm pretty sure I'm French, so let's go with it... just kidding, but I might speak French. Okay, I don't, but I cuss like a fucking sailor 99% of the time, so pardon my French?? Something like that anyway) *side note, it's really ado*

So, SnM, huh? Well, Stephanie and MaRanda, but you can take it any way you'd like. On to the damn Q&A already, for fuck's sake!

M- What is your favorite color?

S- Green, like that sign over there.

M- So, maybe emerald green?

S- Yep.

M- Top five favorite movies?

S- Harry Potter (all of those bitches!), The Shawshank Redemption (she's my soul mate, I'm sure of it), Twister, Tommy Boy, and Serenity (S- SERIOUSLY bring it back!)

M- Alcohol of choice?

S- Blue Moon with extra orange (See, this girl is perfect... I'm biased but you can fuck off if you don't agree).

M- Your favorite way to read?

S- (I swear she said mastur... oh, no, that wasn't her, that was the guy at the table next to us... just kidding... or am I?) HER REAL ANSWER: Listening to the Beatles while soaking in a hot bath.

M- Favorite TV shows?

S- The Flash, Game of Thrones, Arrow and Firefly (she even has a Firefly car sticker, she's the cutest).

M- Favorite bands?

S- Asking Alexandria, A Day to Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Twenty One Pilots, Halsey

M- What are your hobbies, you know, besides loving me? *bats eyelashes*

S- Reading, admiring people from afar without their knowledge (M – Stalking..), reading, reading, listening to music... (She is also trained in the art of proper binocular placement... BAHAHAHA, Kristina gets this!)

So, let's wrap this up, yeah? We are just two girls, who let's face it are HILARIOUS (well, we make each other laugh pretty hard) and love books! We want to share our opinions with you, make you laugh, no crying, there's no crying in baseball. Wait, books, I meant books. But there is crying in books... confused yet? Just wait, we will keep you on your toes!
